Our History
The Hispanic Women Network of Canada is a Canadian non-profit organization, officially registered in July 2022, even though the group started over 10 years ago, as an association. We have been dedicated to advancing gender equality.
Our journey began On May 16, 2013, when the first meeting of 8 professionals’ women from diverse Countries of Latino America. The main purpose at that moment was to create that space to discuss topics of entrepreneurship, self-care, family, employment, among other topics.
Our series of networking events offer women a dynamic platform to showcase their entrepreneurial endeavors, exchange invaluable experiences, and extend mutual support. These events have proven instrumental in fostering the growth of our members, both on a personal and professional level. Our inaugural event took place in May 2014, with fifty Latin women in attendance at our first Breakfast/Conference gathering.
Our Mision
Our mission is to cultivate a nurturing environment that fosters support, personal growth, trust, confidence, friendship, and valuable connections among Latin women in Canada through our events. We are dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and empowering financial independence, enabling our community to thrive and succeed.
Our Vision
Continue advocating and promoting the work and accomplishments of the Latin women within our community. As well as to enhance their lives with equal professional and entrepreneurial opportunities, allowing them to reach financial independence.
