Our History

Over the past 12 years, HWN Canada has proudly connected with hundreds of women from across Latin America who are now building their lives and careers in Ontario. What began as a local initiative has grown into an international network that continues to inspire, empower, and unite women through meaningful opportunities.
The COVID-19 pandemic, despite its challenges, opened new doors for HWN. Our virtual events allowed us to expand our reach far beyond Canada, welcoming participants from Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, the United States, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, and many other countries. This unexpected global connection marked a significant turning point in our journey.
One of our most memorable milestones was the Virtual Expo held in 2020, which brought together over 50 women-led businesses from Ontario and around the world. The three-day event attracted more than 1,500 participants globally and served one powerful mission: to build connections, facilitate business opportunities, and spotlight the incredible work of women entrepreneurs. It was a celebration of resilience, innovation, and collaboration that continues to inspire our community today.

At HWN Canada, our mission is to cultivate a nurturing and empowering environment for Latin women living in Canada. Through our events and programs, we foster meaningful support systems, encourage personal growth, and build trust, confidence, and lasting friendships. Our focus is on creating opportunities for connection and empowerment that extend beyond professional networking.
We are deeply committed to promoting entrepreneurship and supporting financial independence among our members. By providing access to mentorship, resources, and leadership opportunities, we aim to inspire women to step into their full potential, lead with confidence, and make a lasting impact within their communities and beyond.

Coaching program

Promotion of your Business
As a member of HWN, you also have the opportunity to promote your business through our online Business Directory and across our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Networking opportunities
Our events give you the chance to expand your connections and meet like-minded women from a variety of sectors, including entrepreneurship, corporate, finance, health, and government.
